Geiger Fellowship

The Vermont Historical Society has four internship opportunities available for summer 2024 in a variety of departments including collections, archives, education, and digital projects. Three opportunities are available for high school students, and one is available for a current college student. Scope, timing, and specific areas of work will all be developed with accepted interns. Stipends are available. Interested parties should apply via our internship form and indicate what areas of work they would like to pursue.

The interns will produce a final work product available to the public at the end of their time. Applicants must be currently enrolled students at a high school or undergraduate level. A stipend of $1,500 is available for this fellowship.
